William Glenn McKnight

William Glenn " Bill " McKnight, 86 of Santee, SC joined his Heavenly Father on September 12, 2020.
“Bill” was born to Loyd and Letitia McKnight in Cumberland, KY on June 24, 1934. After his Father’s death, he was blessed with a Step-father Dr. W.N. Jones.
Bill, being an exceptional student, graduated from Science Hill High School at 15 years old. He went on to get his Bachelors degree in accounting from Western Reserve College in Cleveland, OH.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathy Syphard McKnight, his children Roni McKnight of Louisville KY, Ryan McKnight (Tess) of Frisco, TX, Bryan McKnight (Dana) of Sheridan, AR, Scott Kleckner (Samantha) of Danville, KY, and Melissa Kleckner of Blanchard, OK.
He was the proud Grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 9.
He retired in 2001 from Thermo Electron Corporation where he had a successful career as the international controller. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing.
A memorial service for the family is being held at Elloree United Methodist Church in Elloree SC on Friday Sept 18, 2020 at 11:00 am.
