Wendy Neal Cook

M. Wendy Cook, 61, of Eutawville, South Carolina passed away on September 20, 2026. Born August 27. 1965, in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ann Walker Neal and Clair Neal.

Wendy proudly served her country for 6 years in the United States Navy, but the role she treasured most was being surrounded by the family she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Cook; her daughters, Kayla DeMarco (Alexander), Noel Vanmeter, and Megan Martineau (James); her step-sons, Michael Cook II (Kristina) and Jesse Cook (Sarah); and her seven wonderful grandchildren, who brought so much happiness to her life.

Wendy truly never met a stranger. She had a wav of making people feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for, whether she had known them for vears or had only just met them. She touched more lives than she probably ever realized and had a way of leaving everyone's life a little brighter simply by being part of it.

She was deeply loved, cherished by so many, and will be deeply missed. The world is a little less bright without her in it, but her memory will continue to bring light to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A service honoring her life will be held on October 2nd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Smith’s Funeral Home, 3126 Main Street, West Middlesex, PA 16159. Family and friends are invited to gather together to remember, celebrate, and honor the beautiful life she shared with those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) in Wendy's memory, so that her legacy may help bring hope to other women and families affected by this disease.
