Wanda Lassiter

SANTEE - Wandalyn "Wanda" McManus Lassiter, 56, of Santee, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her home. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will be private. Wanda was born in Camden, a daughter of the late William Thomas McManus, Sr. and Genevieve Johnson McManus. She was a custodian at Lake Marion Resort and a former CNA at Lexington Extended Care. Wanda was a master seamstress, and also enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She was the widow of Bobby Lassiter. Surviving are a sister, Teresa "Tebbie" Jackson of Holly Hill; brothers, Tommy McManus (Angie) of Holly Hill, and Fred McManus (Charlene) of Lexington; 3 nieces;3 nephews; a great niece; and 2 great-nephews. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, PO Box 69, Vance, SC 29163.
