Walter F. McDonnell

EUTAWVILLE - Walter Franklin McDonnell, 81, of Eutawville, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 in a Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville with Rev. Tom Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be later in the Beaufort National Cemetery. Mr. McDonnell was born in Staten Island, NY, a son of the late James McDonnell and Ethel Abrams McDonnell. A Navy veteran, he was a retired NY State Trooper, and a member of the Church of the Epiphany. Surviving are his wife, Jeanne D. McDonnell of Eutawville; daughters, Phyllis McDonnell of Summerville, and Lynn Badcock of Kissimmee, FL; sons, Walter McDonnell of New Jersey, and Phillip McDonnell of Summerville; a sister Ethel McDonnell of Moncks Corner; and two grandchildren.
