Sherrie Turner, 70, of Eutawville, South Carolina, wife of David Turner passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Born on March 29, 1956, in New London, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Margaret Woff Blood and Walter Blood.

Sherrie was a loving and caring person who was always willing to help others. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her strong work ethic, and the many friendships she made throughout her life. Sherrie worked at several local restaurants over the years, where she enjoyed meeting and serving others. She also had a special love for hummingbirds and enjoyed watching them.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Turner; her son, Haken Chesser (Yorlany); her daughters, Hollie Chesser, Hillary Davis (Justin), and Helana Frierson (Jimmy); her brother, Walter “Butch” Blood (Sandy); her sisters, Sandy “Dee” Rumble (Rodney) and Margaret Lynch (Wayne); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Sherrie will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving and caring spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
