Sandra K. Weatherford ST. MATTHEWS - Sandra K. Weatherford, 72, wife of Calvin "CJ" Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with Pastor Jonathon Lampley officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Weatherford, Mark Weatherford, Greg Hood, Jason Waltz, Scott Weatherford, and Steve Bilton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Yount, Steve Waltz, and Glenn Waltz. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this Thursday at the funeral home. A native of Newberry County, Sandra was a daughter of the late Clarence "Sam" Kinard Sr. and Helen Mae Wicker Kinard. She formerly worked as a teacher's aide in the Holly Hill Schools, the former Bill Wise Printers in Orangeburg and the former Russell Stover store in Santee. Sandra was of the Lutheran faith, and enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of St. Matthews; a daughter, Pam Weatherford of St. Matthews; sons, Ronnie Weatherford of Prosperity, and Kevin (Lynn) Weatherford of Eutawville; a brother, C.L. "Duck" (Sally) Kinard of Irmo; grandchildren, Justin Weatherford (Rachel Hawkins), Carley Kean, Kalyn Weatherford, and Hunter Weatherford.
