Ronnie Player Easterling

Ronnie Louise Easterling, 82 of Isle of Palms, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, April 28 of 2026.

Born on January 7, 1944, in Orangeburg, South Carolina Ronnie was the daughter of the late Mary Louise Rowell Player and Roland Vinson Player.

Ronnie was a beautician by profession and was a graduate of Farah’s Beauty School in downtown Charleston during the 60’s. After years of working as a beautician, Ronnie wanted the freedom of having her own business, so she opened a housekeeping business, “Klean Keepers” in Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms SC. She successfully ran that business for over 40 years. She continued to work in this business until the age of 77 and did not retire until the passing of her husband Alva Raymond Easterling Jr. She and her husband lived on the Isle of Palms for over 50 years. Some of Ronnie’s hobbies include crocheting and baking and she loved to go shopping! If there was a good deal, you could always find Ronnie there. She could always find the best deals no matter where she was. She loved to help people, especially her clients, that she took care of for so many years. Ronnie always loved her pet poodles and her Yorkshire Terrier (Diva). She always had pet babies and loved having them around always!

Ronnie is preceded in death by her parents. Ronnie is survived by her three sisters; Gale Bostock of Bowman SC, Libby Jackson (Wayne) of Martinez GA, Joyce Ann Player of Charleston SC. Ronnie is survived by her daughters, Pamela Denise Smith (Stan) and Karen Ann Easterling; granddaughter Kristin Marie Kinahan (Brenden), grandson Justin Ray Baker, grandson Johnathan Cole Baker and two great grandchildren Issac Hunter Green and Alice Amberlyn Kinahan. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Magnolias of Eutawville and Edisto Hospice for their love and support and the continued care that they provided for my mother in her last years here on Earth.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Avinger Funeral Home at 2274 Eutaw Rd. in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
