Ronald Jerome Heatley

SANTEE - Ronald Jerome Heatley, 56, of Santee, widower of Celestia Inabinet Heatley, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at his home after a brief illness. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Jerusalem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Barry Allen officiating Ronald was born in Orangeburg, a son of Nancy Spires Heatley and the late Jerome Milton Heatley. He was retired from the Albemarle Corporation in Orangeburg, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his mother, Nancy L. (William "JR") Heatley of Santee; daughter, Heather Heatley of Santee; son, Wayne (Marquita) Heatley of Santee; mother-in-law, Reva Inabinet of Elloree; and two grandchildren, J'Naia Asbury and Jakala Heatley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this Monday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill.
