Robert Joseph Fletcher

EUTAWVILLE - Robert Joseph Fletcher, 70, of Eutawville, husband of Julia Campbell Fletcher, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Fletcher was born August 10, 1946 in Ogden, UT, a son of Marjorie Bigler. He was US Army veteran serving as a helicopter medic in Vietnam. He was a member and ruling elder at Santee Presbyterian Church, past president of the Eutawville Lions Club, and was active in the Methodist Men's Fellowship of Eutawville. He was a retired, self-employed heating and air electrician. Survivors in addition to his mother are his wife, Julia C. Fletcher of the home; daughters, Jessica (Channing) Fletcher, Kimberly (Mike) Cotter, and Kayla Manney, all of Goose Creek, SC; brothers, Leonard "Len" Fletcher and his wife Tom Gabay of Syracuse, UT, Steven (Kathleen) Bigler of Everett, WA, and Ron (Gail) Bigler of Roy, UT; sister, Glenda (Bob) Braegger of Perry, UT; stepchildren, Lisa C. and Andrew T. Hermann, both of Columbia, SC; and 10 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Santee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. J. Justiss and Rev. Lisa C. Hermann officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Santee Presbyterian Church, PO Box 649, Santee, SC 29142. Avinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
