Philip E. Carroll Jr.

Philip Earl Carroll Jr, age 81, of Holly Hill, SC died on Sunday, April 29 2018. He was born in Charlottesville VA on September 3 1936. He was born to Philip E Carroll and Elisie Peregory. He enjoyed fishing and any yard work. He was a member of the Christian Church and Army veteran of the Tank Corp. He worked with interstate construction and retired senior vice president of Santee Carriers.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 3rd 2018 at Avinger Funeral Home, Rev. Buddy Locke will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret Morris Carroll of the home; brother Claude Carroll of Boones Mill, VA and David Carrol of Columbia VA, and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted in honor of Mr. Carroll.

Arrangements entrusted to Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, SC, 29059. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 7, 2018 in Holly Memorial Cemetery, Charlottesville, Virginia.
