Paul Lakomski

VANCE - Paul Lakomski, 85, of Vance, husband of Mary Ellen Lakomski, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his home. A memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Santee with Rev. Samuel Oloyede officiating. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the church. Mr. Lakomski was born in New York City, a son of the late Gabriel Lakomski and Anna Dowha Lakomski. He was an Air Force veteran and was retired from General Electric. He was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Santee and the Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Tamara Ann Halstead (James) of Manassas, Va.; a son, Paul Gabriel Lakomski (Mary Jo) of Baldwinsville, NY; grandchildren, Alex and Nick Lakomski, and Larissa and Savannah Halstead. The family will receive friends after the mass in the church social hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, PO Box 250, Santee, SC 29142.
