Pamela Way Bowen

Pamela Rae Bowen, 58 of St. George, South Carolina, wife of Matthew (Pee Wee) Bowen of 31 years, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.  

Born on October 1, 1964, in Charleston, South Carolina, Pam was a daughter of the late Catherine Wimberly Way and Ernest Way.

Pam loved to go to the mountains and loved horses. She will be remembered for always taking care of her family and loving her grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her husband; daughters, Melissa Way and Tiffany McGirr (Brandon); sons, Chris Harbeson (Tracey) and Matt Bowen (Lynn); brother, Wayne Way (Renee); sisters, Amy Huff (Hammond) and Sandy Tuttle; numerous grandchildren, and her extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harbin Way

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 5-7PM at Memorial Baptist Church, 101 May Street, St. George.  A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 5PM Memorial Baptist Church. Pastor David Drumheller officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
