Nancy Daniels Calabrez

Nancy Daniels Calabrez, 79 of Santee, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Born on November 7, 1946, in Flushing, NY Nancy was daughter of the late Francis Joseph Daniels and Vera Jockers Daniels.

Nancy was a dedicated teacher at P.S. 282 in Park Slope, NY for 33 years. She greatly enjoyed teaching her students so effectively that she was granted awards for doing so. Nancy loved life’s many adventures. She lived in New York, California, Massachusetts, and back to Long Island before settling in Santee, to be near her grandchildren. She was a gracious mother, a loving sister, a beautifully dedicated grandmother and a great friend. Nancy was generous and loved donating to a cause to help people in times of crisis.

Nancy is survived by her brother, two children, and four grandchildren.

The service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Jerusalem Methodist Church, 7347 Old Number Six Hwy., Santee. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends afterwards in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
