Mike Pace

Michael Alton Pace, 64 of Holly Hill, husband of Cindy Pace, died Sunday, July 6, 2014, at his home after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Avinger Funeral Home, with Pastor Todd Hodge officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mike, as he was known, was a son of Margaret Gambrell Pace and the late Broadus S. Pace. A longtime employee of the HVAC industry, he enjoyed working on anything with a motor. He liked to hunt and fish, and especially spend time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Michael (LeeAnne) Pace of Holly Hill; sisters, Ann Watkins of Walterboro and Mary Ellen (Jimmy) Smith of Holly Hill; brothers, Robert (Frances) Pace of Gray Court and Junior Pace of Holly Hill; and grandchildren, Jeremy Pace and Michaela Pace, both of Holly Hill.
