Maryann Feichtner Long

Maryann T Long 86 of Santee, SC passed away on Friday April 10, 2026 

Born on January 5, 1940 in Pottsville, PA. Maryann was the daughter of the late Mary Ellis Feichtner and William Feichtner. 

Maryann was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Reading, PA. Class of 1957. She was a member of The Historic Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville, SC. She was a lifetime member of Bird Chapter NO 460 Order of the Eastern Star, and Worthy Matron from 1986-1987. She was a veterinary assistant at Oley Valley Animal Hospital for many years. She was also a medical assistant for the now retired Dr. Robert Cappa in Oley. She had a love for animals especially her Dachshunds.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents; a niece Cherie Boyer and great nephews Tyler Biondo and Jared Lincoln. 

Maryann is survived by her husband J. Elwood "Woody" Long, a sister Judith Belz, nephew Gregory W. Boyer and partner Kim Pugliese, niece Tina Boyer and partner Vince Orth, several great nephews and a great niece, and also a great great nephew. 

The family wishes to thank all the nurses from Amedisys home health care. Her physical therapist Melanie, and the nurses from Grove Park Hospice for all the wonderful care that they provided to her.

Service will be held privately by the family.
