Mary "Juanita" Parker

Mary "Juanita" Parker, 84, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, wife to John T Parker, Sr. of 65 years, entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 26, 1935 in Birmingham, Alabama. Mary was the daughter of the late Dallas Hammond and Opal Hoy.

Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and care giver to her community. Juanita was a long time member of Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church and an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast. She loved family gatherings and always put her family first. She will be remembered as Granny by many and loved by all.

Besides her husband, Juanita is survived by her 4 children; Terry Parker (Emma) of Summerville, SC, Eddie Parker (Vicky) Elloree, SC, Bobby Parker (Gayle) of Holly Hill, SC, Peggy Creech of Cope, SC; and a number of grand children and great grandchildren.

Juanita is predeceased by her son, John "Tommy" Parker.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Avinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September, 24, 2019 at 2 PM at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1698 County Line Rd, Cross, SC 29436. The burial will follow at Eutawville Cemetery.
