EUTAWVILLE - Mary Clark Gibson, 68, of Eutawville, wife of Ray Gibson, Jr., died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Avinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Louann Zeigler officiating. The family will receive friends prior the service beginning at 2 p.m. Mary was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Edison McCoy Clark and Minnie Parker Clark. She was a graduate of Holly Hill High School and worked for years in a clerical capacity for several businesses in the community. Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Clark. Surviving are her husband of the home; a daughter, Melissa Hoskins of Lexington; a son, Timmy (Tammy) Gibson of Holly Hill; sisters, Sarah (Barry) Williams of Holly Hill, and Sandy (Ed) Hall of Orangeburg; a brother, Wilbur Clark of Eutawville; grandchildren, Devon and Bailey Hoskins of Lexington, and Emily and Riley Gibson of Holly Hill; and her poodle, Izzie.
