Mark Anthony Smith

RIDGEVILLE- Mark Anthony Smith, 53, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at home. Mr. Smith was born in Charleston, a son of Hattie Peterson Smith Whalley and the late Gordon F Smith. He was a member of Springhill United Methodist Church and he enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Surviving are his mother of Ravenell; daughters, Jessica (Russell) Havens of Summerville and Christina (Joseph) Cartrette of Florence; a sister, Sheryl Smith of Moncks Corner; a brother, Ronald Eugene Smith of Ravenell; grandchildren, Wyatt and Kaylee Cartrette and Ryland and Erin Havens. Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to MUSC Children's Hospital, 171 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29425.
