Lillian Way Bacot

SUMMERTON- Lillian Way Bacot, 81, of Summerton, wife of Ruffin "Nuggar" Bacot for 65 years, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 in a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Lake Marion Baptist Church, 1182 Scott Lake Road, Summerton with Rev. Larry Kennedy officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 o'clock at the church. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery, Holly Hill. Pallbearers will be nephews. Mrs. Bacot was born in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Reubin Hamilton Way, Sr. and the late Lurline Kemmerlin Way. She retired from Geer Drug, Co. and was a member of the Lake Marion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Allen Bacot. Surviving are her husband; a sister, Jeanette (Otis) Carn of St. George; and numerous nieces and nephews.
