Lesly Ellington Thompson

Lesly Ellington Thompson, 63 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

Born on August 27, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was a Daughter of the late Jacqueline Turner Ellington and Clarence Ellington.

Lesly was a pre-school teacher for many years for the Berkeley County School District.  She enjoyed her cups of coffee and and a good book.  Most of all Lesly loved spending time with her children and grandson.

Lesly is survived by a daughter, Emily Russell (Kyle) of Holly Hill; a son, Max Thompson of Knoxville; brother, Robert Ellington (Melissa) and their children of Columbia; and a grandson, Theoden Russell.

Lesly is preceded in death by her parents.
 
The family will receive friends for a gathering on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 2-4PM at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, South Carolina. 

A memorial service will be held privately at a later date.
