Leroy Adair Dantzler, III

L. Adair Dantzler EUTAWVILLE - Leroy Adair Dantzler, III, 60, of Eutawville, died Monday, October 8, 2012. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Philip Rorabaugh and Dr. David Brien officiating. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Thurman Elliott, Johnny Hinnant, Ken Hinnant, Jamie Murphy, Tony Meyer, Jamey Courtney, Chris Futch, and Gary Bradham. Adair was born in Orangeburg, a son of the late L. A. "Laddie" Dantzler, Jr. and Jean Evans Dantzler. A member of Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church, he was a graduate of Holly Hill High School, and attended the Baptist College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and an excellent carpenter. Surviving are daughters, Kayla (Jason) Green of St. George, and Brittany Dantzler of Eutawville; a sister, Catherine D. (Dan) Atkinson of Holly Hill; a brother, David E. Dantzler of Eutawville; his step-mother, Georgie Creach Womack of N. Charleston; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the church before the service beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church, PO Box 595, Eutawville, SC 29048 or a charity of choice.
