SUMMERVILLE - Leann Christy Shown, 51, of Summerville died Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in a North Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Rd., Holly Hill. The family will receive friends before the service beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. LeAnn was a daughter of Karen Lukes Teeslink and the late George W. Teeslink. She was a bartender at Chris's Place in Moncks Corner and was preceded in death by a son, Jeral Shown. Survivors include her mother of Eutawville; a daughter, Christina Shown of Summerville; sisters, DeVee Teeslink of Eutawville, and Tammy Almeida of Summerville; and a granddaughter, Amya Shown of Summerville.
