Larry Lester Watson

HOLLY HILL - Larry Lester Watson, 67, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Summerville Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 at 3 pm in Grace Freewill Holiness Church, Holly Hill with Rev. Phillip Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Sunday at Grace Freewill Holiness Church, 657 Fourwind Road, Holly Hill, SC. Pallbearers will be Antonio Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Wade Chambers, Dale Meree, and Cody Watson. Mr. Watson was born in Glennville, GA to the late Lester Franklin Watson and the late Margie Elizabeth Anderson Watson. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Watson was an avid fisherman and enjoyed golfing. He was predeceased by daughter Lori Lee Watson. Surviving are daughters, Shawn Watson Enamorado of Ridgeville, Dawn E. Gutierrez of Dallas, TX, Patricia Dale Perez of Tampa, FL, and Amanda Sue Alverez of Holly Hill; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; former wife Lucille Watson-Meree of Holly Hill. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 174 East Bay Street, Suite 300 A-B, Charleston, SC 29401. Avinger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
