Landis Fayne Garrett

Landis Fayne Garrett, 20, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Born on November 23, 2004, in Orangeburg, Landis was the beloved daughter of Melissa Fagg Garrett and Randy Garrett III.

Landis’s ways, words, and faith were never-ending. As the youngest in the family, she became the one everyone looked up to—someone from whom many took notes on kindness, understanding, and the beauty of living without judgment. She was quick to apologize, easy to forgive, and steadfast in her gentle spirit.

She loved to paint, took pride in her piercings, and never missed a shopping trip with her Nana. A good thrift store always sparked her joy. Landis was the peacemaker of the family—very unlike her big sister Taylor, the “troublemaker”—yet the two shared an unbreakable bond. No amount of head-butting ever dimmed the strength of their sisterhood.

Family was her priority. She loved green tea, and she made sure—always—to speak and show her love openly. In the words of her Moomaw, her cup truly runneth over.

Landis is predeceased in death by her poppa, Aunt Moe, Granny Dorris, Poppa Rayman, Nannie Katie, and Uncle Tony whom she will meet at last for the first time.

Landis is survived by her parents; sister Taylor, Nana Betty, Moomaw Faye; best friend Julianna and her loving boyfriend Ethan which we pray for a speedy recovery.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road in Holly Hill, South Carolina. A service will follow at 12PM. Burial will conclude in the Holly Hill Cemetery.
