Kenny Kelly

VANCE - Kenneth A. "Kenny" Kelly, 76, of Vance, husband of Jackie Mitchum Kelly, died Monday, December 29, 2014 in a North Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Jerusalem United Methodist Church in Santee with Rev. Barry Allen and Rev. Billy Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service at the church beginning at 2 p.m. Kenny was born in Columbia, a son of the late Cole Blease Kelly and Margaret Jordan Kelly. He was a tile flooring contractor and a former manager of Clark's Inn in Santee. Kenny was a member of Jerusalem UMC, and attended Eutawville UMC. He was a Mason and a former member of the SC National Guard, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and Elloree Jaycees. Kenny was preceded in death by a brother, Heyward Kelly. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cole Dantzler of Summerton, a son, Kenny Kelly (Jamie) of Santee, sister-in-law, Mary Kelly of Orangeburg; brother-in-law, Fletcher Mitchum of Summerton; grandchildren, Kayla Green (Jason), and Brittany Dantzler, both of Eutawville, Austin, Jordan, and Emma Kelly, all of Santee; a great-grandson, Evans Green of Eutawville.
