Kenneth Lee Rice

EUTAWVILLE - Kenneth Lee Rice, 54, of Eutawville, died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel. There will be viewing/visitation prior to the service beginning at 6 at the funeral home. Kenneth was born October 6, 1956 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was employed as an electronic technician at SRC in Orangeburg. Kenneth enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building model trains, and reading. He loved his cat Marshall. Surviving are his father and step-mother, George and Betty McAteer of Eutawville; a son and only child, Matthew (Anna) Rice of Holly Hill; granddaughters, Emma Rice, age 14 months and Jaden Cook, age 15, both of Holly Hill; a sister, Karen (Richard) Scovell of Eutawville; other family, Tammy, Roy and Scott.
