Julian A. Biering Jr., 76, of Holly Hill, South Carolina died Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was born on November 16, 1941, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Julian and Mary (Jesse) Biering. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Disabled Veteran. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Survivors include His Wife: Dorothy V. Biering, 3 Sons: Julian (Rocky) A. Biering III (Pamela), David L. Biering (Juanora) and Christopher P. Biering (Carmen), 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Brothers: Stephen P. Biering and Lawrence Hyer and numerous Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by 2 Grandchildren, Whitney and Andrew, and 1 Sister Mary E. Weaver. The family will receive friends on March 26, 2018 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM with a Rosary Service at 5:30 at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Rd, Holly Hill, SC, 29059. The Mass of Christian Burial will be March 27, 2018, at 3:00PM at Saint Ann's Catholic Church, 2205 State Park Road, Santee, SC 29142. A burial will follow at Providence UMC Cemetery, Holly Hill, SC.
