Joseph (Joey) Edward Szorosy

Joseph Edward Szorosy, 17, of Cross, South Carolina died, Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was born on January 18, 2001 in North Charleston, SC to Joseph and Jennifer Szorosy. Survivors include his parents: Joseph and Jennifer Szorosy of Cross, SC; paternal grandparents: Joseph and Carol Szorosy; maternal grandparents: Harold and Doris Padgett; aunts: Tracy (Chris) Watts, and Stacy (Tommy) Bilton; cousins: Alyssa and Tara Bilton, Blakely and Taylor Watts; great grandmother: Mildred Freeman; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle: Shannon Elias Padgett. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8280 Old Number 6 Highway, Santee, SC 29142. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dorchester Academy Booster Club, 234 Academy Road, St. George, SC 29477, or to Camp Woodie, 9833 Old River Road, Pinewood, SC 29125.
