Joseph Gombas

SANTEE - Joseph Gombas, 78, of Santee, husband of Doris L. Gombas, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Services will be private. A native of Oszko, Hungary, Mr. Gombas was the son of Mihaly Gombas and Rose Nagy Gombas. He enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife of the home; daughters, Susan Garrison of Houston, Tex., and Eva Gombas of North Charleston; grandchildren, Patrick Garrison, Briana Garrison, and Liam Garrison; and a sister, Ili Orban of Oszko, Hungary.
