Johnye Williams

Johnye Delila Williams, 79 of Eutawville, South Carolina, wife of William “Bill” Williams passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 in Georgia.

Born on January 3, 1944 in Texas Johnye was a daughter of the late Iris Scott Ammons and Marcus Scott.

Johnye was a graduate of Carlsbad High School in Carlsbad, New Mexico.  She was a Paramedic-EMT Instructor for many years at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and Midlands Technical College.  Johnye loved flowers of all kinds and crocheting.  She was a member of Fellowship of Praise in Santee.

Johnye is survived by her husband; sons, William M. "Bill" Kendrick of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Robert Edward “Ed” Kendrick and partner Charles Lloyd of Valdosta, Georgia, Jeffery L. Kendrick and wife Morrica Outlaw-Kendrick of Valdosta, and Kevin T Williams and wife Miok of Augusta; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Johnye is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, 1PM at Fellowship of Praise, 8280 Old Number Six Hwy., Santee.  Burial will conclude after the service in the church cemetery.
