Jo-Anne Jones

HOLLY HILL - Mrs. Jo-Anne Beaufort Jones, 57, wife of Britt Jones, died Friday in a Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery. Jo-Anne was born in Charleston, a daughter of the late Howard Beaufort and Lora Branch Beaufort. She was a graduate of Garrett High School and was Personnel Officer at First National Bank of S.C. Jo-Anne enjoyed gardening and traveling, and she loved animals. Surviving are her husband, Britt of the home; a son, Dr. Wes (Kelley) Jones of Greenville, SC; a granddaughter, Abigail Jones; a sister, Debra (Paul) Donahue of Rock Hill; and brothers, Ron (Wanda Faye) Beaufort of Charleston Heights, and Wayne Beaufort of Florida. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. this Sunday at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.
