Jesse S. Hudson

SANTEE - Jesse S. Hudson, 85, of Santee, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at The Magnolias of Santee. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with Rev. Barry Allen officiating. Masonic rites will be rendered. There will also be another gathering to celebrate his life on Wednesday from 4:15 to 5:30 at the Santee Cooper Resort Clubhouse. Jesse was born in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Jesse B. Hudson and Helen Lauck Hudson. An avid golfer, he moved to Santee in 1996. Jesse was first married to Dorothy Hudson, mother of his children, and was the widower of Alice Hudson. Surviving are children, Cheryl (Tom) Repas of Carversville, PA, Jesse (Therese) Hudson of Ocean City, NJ, and Mark (Denise) Hudson of Philadelphia, PA; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
