Jannie W. Martin EUTAWVILLE - Jannie Weatherford Martin, 95, of Eutawville, widow of Sidney Martin, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home with Rev. Buck Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Jannie was born in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Press Weatherford and Lovie Clark Weatherford. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty M. Mudgett, sons, Roy and Leon Martin, and an infant daughter. Surviving are daughters, Irene Zeagler, Lorene Weatherford and Annie Atkinson, all of Eutawville; sons, Jimmy Martin of Ridgeville, Deedle and Levi Martin, both of Holly Hill; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends at the home, 317 Red Bank Drive, Eutawville.
