Janie Bunch Woodrow

Janie Bunch Woodrow of Greensboro, N.C., formerly of Eutawville, S.C., went home to be with her Lord on August 6, 2022.  Janie was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church in Holly Hill where she served faithfully for many years. 

Janie was predeceased in death by her husband of fifty plus years, James Wesley Woodrow Sr., her parents, George and Lucille Bunch, a sister, Miriam Bunch Logan, and a brother, Jack Bunch.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia Woodrow Bressler (Richard) of Oak Island, N.C.  her son, James Wesley Woodrow, Jr. (Becky) of Greensboro, N.C. and the apple of her eye, her grandson, Tyler Weston Woodrow.

Janie loved her flowers and her garden.  She and Jim also loved camping and shrimping.  She was totally devoted to her family and worked hard to provide for them throughout her life.  She and Jim officially retired after selling their ServPro franchises in North Myrtle Beach but continued to work part-time at HanesBrands in Santee in her retirement years.  After Jim died, she moved to Greensboro to be closer to her son’s family.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 11-12PM at Avinger Funeral Home.  A service will follow at 12PM in the Avinger Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will conclude at Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church Cemetery, 229 Bethlehem Road, Holly Hill.

Her family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Brighton Gardens of Greensboro, Brookdale of High Point and AuthoraCare Hospice of Greensboro for their wonderful care these last several years.  Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Southern Methodist Church, 229 Bethlehem Rd.
