EUTAWVILLE - Howard Leroy Edwards, 82, of Eutawville, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at a North Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Eutawville United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Lewis officiating Burial will be 3 p.m. at Jericho United Methodist Cemetery near Cameron. Howard was born in Savannah, a son of the late Leroy Hazelton Edwards and Agnes Jackson Edwards. He was an Army veteran and retired as district manager from US Foods (formerly PYA). Howard enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and cooking. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Tony Edwards. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Felkel Edwards of Eutawville; sons, Chris (Michele) Edwards and Mark Leroy Edwards (David Smith), all of Goose Creek, and Kevin (Deanna) Edwards of Charleston; a brother, Leslie (Margaret) Edwards of Columbia; a sister, Olivia Ray of Lexington; grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Edwards, Tony (Brandi) Edwards, Steven (Melissa) Edwards, Ashleigh Edwards, Tiffany Edwards, and Kyle Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Brendon, Keaton, Peyton, Kendall, Eli, and Jaxon Edwards.
