Howard Arthur Felder Jr.

Howard Arthur Felder Jr., 84 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 in a Charleston hospital.

Born on October 27, 1938 in Charleston, SC Howard was a Son of the late Emma Guy Megginson Felder and Howard Arthur Felder, Sr.

Howard was a member of the Army National Guard for two years at a young age.  He had many jobs including real estate and hotel management. Howard was a collector of many things.  He enjoyed going to yard sales and resale shops.

Howard is survived by sons, Howard "Butch" Richard (Kathy) of Noblesville, Indianapolis, and James "Jimmy" Richard (Jenn) of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Deanna Sorensen (Ben) of Des Moines, Iowa; stepson, Ricky Felder of Bristol, Tennessee; brothers, James Norwood Felder (Ann) of Holly Hill and William Hall "Bill" Felder (Patricia) of Charleston; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ellen Arcand, and a brother, Alton Hayne Felder.

Services will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
