Henry Richard "Bubba" Shuler

Henry Richard "Bubba" Shuler, 72 of Elloree, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at MUSC in Charleston surround by his family. 

Born on February 4, 1953 in Orangeburg Bubba was a son of the late Eula Mae Strock Shuler and Wayman Laurie Shuler. 

Bubba was a lifelong farmer. He attended the First Baptist Church of Elloree. Bubba will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.

Bubba was predeceased in death by his parents, brothers Marion Shuler, Leon Shuler and Allen Shuler and sisters Georgia Mae Hill and Shelby Pendarvis. 

Bubba is survived by his wife Joan Shuler; daughter Lisa Michelle Shuler; a special daughter Samantha Zeigler (Trae); brothers Frank Shuler and Bobby Ray Shuler (Judy); sister Mamie Elizabeth "Sister" Shuler and many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 at 3PM at Hungerpiller Family Cemetery in Elloree. Pastor Kevin Hess officiating.

Those honored to serve Bubba as pallbearers are Mark Jones, Rusty Bair, and Ricky Crider.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hungerpiller Family Cemetery.
