Helen Boone

HOLLY HILL - Helen Forsyth Boone, 95, of Holly Hill, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at The Oaks in Orangeburg. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Holly Hill, with Rev. Marshall Locke officiating. Burial will be later in Maine. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary one hour prior the funeral service Mrs. Boone was a native of Eastport, ME, and moved to Holly Hill in 2001. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Holly Hill prior to her decline in health, and was the widow of Frederick "Fred" Boone. Surviving are daughters, Barbara Haig of Holly Hill, Nancy Anglin of Elizabeth City, NC, and Ruth Doak of Eastport, ME; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
