Harry A Renau

EUTAWVILLE - Harry Anthony Renau, 87, of Eutawville, husband of Florence Renau, died Saturday, June 6, 2015 in an Augusta, Ga. hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Historic Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville with Rev. Tom Hendrickson officiating. Burial, with military rites, will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Harry was born in Charleston, a son of the late John Henry Renau and Georgia Keen Renau. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving first in the US Navy and later transferring to the US Air Force. Harry was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Historic Church of the Epiphany. Surviving are his wife of Eutawville; sons, Paul Renau and Patrick Renau, both of Washington State; sisters, Mary Ellen Renau and Hazel Lucas, both of Charleston; and a brother, Frank Renau of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends after the burial in the worship center at the church. Memorials may be made to the church, PO Box 9, Eutawville, SC 29048.
