Harold Louis Myers, Jr. 76, of Eutawville, South Carolina husband to Loretta Jean (Brown) Myers of 34 years, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 2, 2020, surrounded by his family. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Eutawville Cemetery in Eutawville, South Carolina.
Born on November 26, 1943 in St. George, South Carolina Harold was a son of the late, Harold Louis Myers, Sr. and Fairey Claire (Mallard) Myers. He worked as a pipefitter in the civil service industry and retired in 2000. Harold enjoyed going fishing, hunting and rock hunting. His family will remember him for his sense of humor and his ability to tell a story with a straight face.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Tony Fairchild and numerous members of his extended family. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Loretta J. Myers of Eutawville; his children, Harold L. " Hal " Myers, III (Tammy) of Huntsville, Alabama, Joseph E. Myers of Portland, Oregon, Juanita Delekto (Joe) of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Karen Fairchild and her husband, Phil Rodgers of Summerville, South Carolina; his six grandchildren and one great granddaughter; his brothers, Richard Myers (Judi) of Greenville, South Carolina and Fred Myers (Juanita) of Farmville, North Carolina; his sister, Merrill Sakry (Arnold) of Becker, Minnesota.
