Grace Branham

Grace Branham, 94 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, widow of Hyrum (Buddy) Branham, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Born on December 28, 1929 in Holly Hill, South Carolina Grace was a daughter of the late Willie May Whetsell Jackson and William Henry Jackson.

Grace was employed at the NCO Club at the Charleston Air Force Base for over thirty years. After retirement Grace moved back to her hometown of Holly Hill and worked at the Smoak House Restaurant. Grace enjoyed reading and working word search puzzles. She loved making photo albums for each grandchild and great grandchild so they would have memories of a lifetime. Most importantly Grace loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Grace is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Theresa Reynolds, grandson, David Allen Faucette, and nine of her twelve siblings.

Grace is survived by daughters, Cindy Faucette, Gloria Moyer, Pamela Goodwin (Bill); a son, James Coker; seven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren; sisters, Christine Blake and Barbara J. Griffin (Buddy); best friend of 54 years, Janet Norwood and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Grace's great grandsons Houston Atkinsons, Jackson Coker, Nick Krietemeyer, Jayden Moyer, Dylan Moyer, and Taylor Burnette.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 10-11am at Avinger Funeral home. A service will follow at 11am in the Avinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will conclude at 1:30PM at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital, St. Jude's or a charity of ones choice.
