Gloria Brazell

Gloria N. Brazell, 81 of Santee, South Carolina, wife of the late David Brazell passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Methodist Oaks. 

Born on August 8, 1941 in Columbia Gloria was a Daughter of the late Helen Crider Newman and Frank Newman. 

Gloria worked for many years at the Hampton Inn in Santee. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. 

Gloria is survived by her sons. Gene Brazell of the Providence Community and Lee Brazell (Victoria) of Gaston; grandchildren, Jessica Brazell, Erykah Brazell, Tywan Hilliard, Taliyah Brazell, and Amber Brazell; a great grandson, Jaxon Bruce; a sister, Betty Hill; brothers, Frank Newman, Jr. (Judy) and Danny Ray Newman; a sister-in law, Annette Smith (Al), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Annette Lovell.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road in Holly Hill. 

Services will be private.
