George E Sweat, 73, of Goose Creek, husband to Carolyn Sweat (Smith) of 52 years, entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Born on November 11, 1948 in Summerville, SC. George was son of the late Willie Sweat and Rosalie Sweat.
George enjoyed watching football. George retired from the Army. He Loved his wife, children and grandchildren and his four dogs.
Besides his wife, George is survived by two daughters: Sherri Kari (Bill) of NJ, Tiffany Nawrocki of SC, a son: Kevin Sweat (Kathy) of GA. Grandchildren Evan and Ethan Kari, Brooke, Anna, Cole and Jack Nawrocki, Zackary, Zeke Sweat and Courtney Allen. Several Nieces and Nephews. He is preceded in death by Grandson Dakota Sweat.
The graveside service will be held at Florence National Cemetery Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM. The burial will be held at Florence National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George`s memory may be sent to American Heart Association – Lowcountry or American Diabetes Association.
