Gary Hydrick Knight

Gary Hydrick Knight, 78, of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. 

Born on January 18, 1948, in Orangeburg, Gary was a son of the late Dorothy Earley Knight and Daniel Knight. 

Gary was a graduate of Holly Hill High School and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He spent most of his working career in route sales. 

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Daniel (Danny) Knight Jr., and a sister, Sandra Knight Funchess. 

Gary is survived by a brother, Larry Knight of Columbia; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Booker Knight; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A graveside service will be held Thursday July 2, 2026 at 11AM at the Holly Hill Cemetery.
