HOLLY HILL - Dorothy Mae Coon Wilder, 73, of Holly Hill, widow of Charlie Wilder, died Monday, June 1, 2015 at her home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Freewill Holiness Church with Pastor Phillip Rowland officiating. Burial will be Thursday in Claxton, Ga. Dot was born in Shreveport, La., a daughter of the late LD Edward Coon and Dixie Grissett Coon. She was an expert seamstress and was a member of Grace Freewill Holiness Church. Surviving are daughters, Sheila Kay (Adel) Abuamer, of Claxton, Ga., and Sherry Lynn (Dirk) Matheny of Knightsville; sons, Phillip (Debbie) Rowland of Holly Hill, Kenneth (Abby) Wilder of Claxton, Ga., Jason (Inez) Wilder, and Jonathan (Becky) Wilder, all of Holly Hill; sisters, Patricia Tindall of Apopka, Fla., Linda (Bruce) Miller of Cairo, Ga., Gail (Eddie) Anderson of Nelsonville, Ohio, and Cindy (Stewart) Murphy of Lady Lake, Fla.; brothers, Paul Coon of Nelsonville, Ohio, and Daniel (Rachael) Coon of Leesburg, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the church from Tuesday until the service time on Wednesday.
