Donnie R. Horrell

EUTAWVILLE - Donnie Ray Horrell, 70, of Eutawville, husband of Alberta Horrell, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel, Holly Hill, with Rev. Mickey White officiating. Donnie was born in Pender County, NC, a son of the late Raymond Morris Horrell, Sr. and Eloise Tedder Horrell. He was an Army veteran and a retired carpenter. He enjoyed gardening and liked to fish. Surviving are his wife of Eutawville; a brother, Kenny Horrell of Sumter; a step-daughter, Debra Martin of Eutawville; step-sons, Billy Strickland of Moncks Corner, and Mike Strickland of Pinopolis; 11step-grandchidlren; and 22 step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
