Darrell Leroy Rudd

Darrell Leroy Rudd, 62 of Cross, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. 

Born on March 29, 1962 in Holly Hill Darrell was a son of the late Geneva Singletary Rudd and Ernest Rudd Jr.

Darrell was retired from the SC Department of Transportation where he was a backhoe operator. He loved NASCAR racing and Carolina Panthers football. Darrell will be remembered as a loving person who cared for his family and friends. 

Darrell is preceded in death by parents and a brother Ray Hill.

Darrell is survived by wife Gloria Rudd; daughter Crystal Rudd of McDonough, Georgia; granddaughter Harper Rudd of McDonough, Georgia ; sister Carol Rudd of Ridgeville; brothers Ronnie Hill and Keith Hill; aunt Alline Fairburn of Odenville, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Services will be held privately by the immediate family.
