HOLLY HILL - Darlene Kinsey Shuler, 59, of Holly Hill, wife of Don R. Shuler, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center. A Graveside funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Holly Hill Cemetery with Pastor Roy Dean Knight officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:30 to 1:30 at Avinger Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Walt Kinsey, Jonathan Kinsey, Audis "Skeeter" Martin III, Haskell Connor, Jason Wiles, and Troy Weatherford. Darlene was born in Orangeburg Co., the daughter of the late Doris Ray Kinsey and Caroline Hart Kinsey. She was a former waitress at restaurants in Santee and later assisted her father at his auto repair shop in Holly Hill. She enjoyed birdwatching and was an avid fan Clemson Tigers football. Surviving are her husband, Don R. Shuler of Holly Hill; sons, Lance (Lynn) Shuler of Orangeburg, and Brannon (Shanda) Shuler of Holly Hill; step-sons, Robbie (Cynthia) Shuler of Orangeburg, and Donnie (Kim) Shuler of Elloree; brothers, Ray (Judy)) Kinsey and Kelly (Brenda) Kinsey, all of Holly Hill; grandchildren, Miranda Brown, Ashleigh Shuler, Savannah Shuler, Jace Shuler, Brody Shuler, Devin Shuler, and Abbigaile Shuler; several of nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Holly Hill Cemetery Fund, PO Box 203, Holly Hill, SC 29059.
