Darlene Ruth Ward

VANCE- Darlene Ruth Ward, 76, died Friday, May 26, 2017 at The Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC. A visitation will be 3 to 5 PM Sunday at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill, SC. Mrs. Ward was born in Dayton, Ohio, a daughter of the Late Robert L. Temple and Frances Johnson Temple. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and a former board member of the Vance Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors are a daughter Marcia R. (Ira) Birt; a son Scott Petry both of Vance; a sister Alice (Ken) Snider of St. Stephen; a brother Edward (Beth) Temple of Wisconsin; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
