Dalton Lynn Connor

SUMMERTON - Dalton "DC" Lynn Connor, 67, of Summerton, husband of Joann Veno Connor, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at their home. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Sandridge First Baptist Church with Rev. Owen Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:45 until 2:45 before the service. DC was born in Wilmington, NC a son of the late Porter C. "Pappy" Connor and Eloise Willetts Connor. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired electrician from American Yard Products. DC was an avid hunter especially deer hunting with dogs. In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Haskell (Tina) Connor and Christopher Connor of Summerton; sister, Sharon (Jimmy) Peek of Fletcher, NC; brothers, Charles (Mary) Connor and Alton (Louise) Connor, all of Fletcher, NC; and grandchildren, Tara and Taylor Connor, Skye and Tekoa Youngblood, and Halle and Bryce Connor.
